Exercise of the week SEP 22 2014: Basic Squat to Box
Squatting to and from a box or chair has been our most effective way to get someone on track and squatting properly from day 1. The SquatGuide ensures perfect position of the feet, knees and hips and we use the arms up approach to get the person's spine in a great position as well. It can be progressed by squatting to a lower box or by not sitting between reps and instead doing a "touch and go" style set. As always, knees sustain contact with the lateral knees guides and avoid contact with the front knee guides.
